  • Public Advocacy

In line with our objective to publically advocate the ideas and philosophy of J.B. Danquah, particularly amongst Ghana’s youth, all of our research projects, publications and events will be accompanied by a proactive and widespread media campaign to ensure maximum national impact and reach as wide an audience as possible. In particular, we intend to hold events at a wide section of Ghana’s tertiary institutions to educate students on Dr Danquah’s work and beliefs, as well to disseminate the findings of our research projects. Our journal, the DI Quarterly, will also be a key component of our public advocacy.

  • Research Projects

The DI’s research projects for 2009 fall within the purview of one of our two major thematic programmes: governance and media. Both are run by our in-house research department, with specific projects drawing on the skills and knowledge of individual researchers as the project requires. Whilst our major projects for this year are exclusively within these fields, we plan to expand our capacity in 2010 into the economic sphere.
